  Gibson Custom Shop Keb Mo

Gibson Keb Mo Bluesmaster Custom Shop 2011 Vintage Burst WOHSC. Excellent condition beautiful playing and most important sounding Parlor Guitar by Custom Shop Gibson. Electronics working fine and just checked this baby out with no issues to report. Very slight fret wear maybe 10-15% and a life time of playing left. This guitar actually sounds like a full body acoustic with brilliant great tone. We were amazed plugged or not. Small volume knob in top of sound hole. OK, the only slight imperfection is a mark on headstock where previous owner lefy a clip on tuner. This can be buffed out if desired. Last photo is the best we could get of that. Slightly matte on gloss finish. About 3/8' wide by 1 1/4" long. Can't even see unless pointed out. We were told not all of this model sounded good. Well this one is a winner. Comes with all paperwork shown and information never filled out so like new also. Gibson Hardshell Original Case included. $1,899.99

Additional info:  The Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster Acoustic Guitar has a classic Gibson L-00 body and custom herringbone top trim, recalling the instruments played by some of the first blues artists in the Deep South of the United States. The custom neck shape and wider nut width give the Bluesmaster guitar easy playability. Tonal enhancements are created by a customized thinner top made of Adirondack red spruce for singing tone and sustain.

The Keb' Mo' acoustic guitar's carved French heel neck shape means easy finger reaching up the neck for those high notes and vibrato. The 12th fret is joined to the guitar body for a warmer resonant tone and added playing comfort. Gibson gives the Keb' Mo' Bluesmaster guitar a special darker vintage antiquing of its authentic nitro-lacquer finish. Other embellishments include a Keb' Mo' Signature truss cover and L.R. Baggs Element pickup with soundhole volume control.

     1960 Custom Shop Strat

Fender Custom Shop 1960 NOS Stratocaster 2015 Fiesta Red w/ Rosewood Fretboard. This baby is so cool and plays like a Custom Shop Dream. We checked out and found no issues with great action and tone. Seems to be completely original except the previous owner had a 5 way selector switch installed. The original 5 way not used in paper envelop. Very slight fret wear, about 10-15% with many years of life left. If frets were slightly dressed, one would never even know, that's how little wear there is. Also 2 cosmetic blems to disclose. One in pic bottom edge and the other tiny on headstock also shown. Comes with all extras: COA, Original Bridge Cover, Extra Springs in an envelop, Original Fender Vintage type Strap, Back 3 PLY White Cover and screws, Case Keys, and all paperwork too. Included with that great 1960 Fender Reissue Hardshell Case. A great Fender Custom Shop at a wonderful price. $2,199.99

    Gretsch 1965 Tennessean

Forget about Guitar of the Week, GUITAR OF THE YEAR!

Vintage 1965 Gretsch 6119 Chet Atkins Tennessean Original with Original Case and Gretsch Original Strap. YES WOW, you wont find a nicer vintage Chet Alkins Tennessean on the market. This is as close to buying a George Harrison Guitar as you can get. No issues, prominent scratches or cosmetic damages that we can find. For its age it's a 10. Some maybe slight aging if you can find it but not any to photo. We received the guitar and checked it completely only to find divets in frets. If we dressed them there would have been no fret to dress the next time. We freted the guitar with a close to original fret slightly beefier, and what a great job perfect. So prefect I, the owner of Guitar Boutique, am having a hard time selling her period. So do not message for a discount of any kind. The grain is fantastic as shown in photos. Even the case is original with original Gretsch Strap, (strap really just to keep not functional). This guitar has wonder or better than wonderful tone. Neck straight and action fine. Just set up and hers breath taking. No returns so call us if you please or fly here and take her home! Anyway, once you play you'd have to be crazy to leave her ever. It will be the best ride of your life. If you don't know the model you should look it up. Painted F holes fully hollow. SOLD

      1973 Gibson SG Walnut

Peter Townsend made this baby popular. Here's a nice Vintage 1973 Gibson SG in Walnut. She sounds and plays wonderful and has a great real relic look. Control area lacquer has peeled due to temperature and some slight moisture but that just gives it character. No fret wear and these P-90's sing. Standing tall in front of a 60 Watt Fender Vibro-King she's real happy! Call for price.

         Gibson L-5 CES 1990

Gibson 1990 L-5 CES in Vintage Burst. This guitar is in the best condition you'll find a 1990 L-5 CES. Any imperfections you see in photos, are are ONLY in the original lacquer finish, as should be in a 27 year old lacquer finish guitar, and NO cracks that we can find at all.
This baby in fantastic and 100% original. We acquired from the original owner that bought it new in 1990. It was never taken out of the house, a non smoking studio, and kept at a constant proper temperature. Nut measures 1 23/32", weight is 8 lbs 10.1 oz, scale is 25 3/8", depth of box is 3 1/2", width of body is 17". The action is perfect, tone wonderful, electronics perfect, function proper with no issues at all. Check binding which looks great and etching on gold hardware. The inlays on headstock are over the top. As you can see from photos all is excellent. Note the lacquer is slightly hazed at edge in photo. If you want a perfect from factory then buy that, but you may find out the tone and depth may be disappointing. Comes with Original Gibson Hardshell Case. Ask any questions.
Sorry SOLD

RARE 55 Fender Princeton 5E2

RARE 1955 Fender Princeton Model 5E2 Tweed Amp. This is one of the rarest of the original Princeton Tweeds. This tweed is all 100% original and correct. This is the only Princeton amp that came with a factory choke transformer. With the Model 5E2: The Princeton circuit gained a filter choke and a negative feedback loop and was only made for 2 years. The serial number is P-00057 super low number, It's stamp code on the tube chart, speaker, and chassis. EE which signifies the amp was assembled in May of 1955. The date code on the Jensen 8J11 V1263 speaker is 22504 so the speaker was manufactured the 4th week of 1955. The tweed covering and grill cloth on this amp are in  good condition for the age with some average imperfections and wear spots in the tweed for an amp of this era. The only eyesore is the discoloration around the bottom 2 screws. The handle is original and fully intact with minimal surface age cracks. The control panel chrome does show very minor pitting but all of the white printing is in good condition. Rare model of Jensen speaker installed and original. A non bell alnico model 8J11 (8J11v1263) with a date code of 22504 (Jensen/1955/4th week) These 8J11 speakers were made with the bell soon after. The speaker is in great shape with original cone and no holes. There is a piece of masking tape still attached to the chassis with the name Lily written on it. This is the person who originally wired the amp. The amp is in great condition considering its age and sounds great with no hum. I have removed it cleaned it and reinstalled it to ensure all is original and there are no issues. The tubes are vintage but not original. $2,199.99

Narrow Panel 5E2 and 5F2 1955-56
5E2 being the rarest. These rare versions were made with a cathode biased first gain stage. They also introduced negative feedback which gave them a smoother more even sound. Both used a choke transformer in the power section with rather minimal filtering.

We will try and give you as much information as we can on this Fender Strat. We aquired it from a customer that bought 2 years ago from a website. They never stated it was a signature or authentic David Gilmour. It has no COA or Custom Shop Fender Neck. The case is an Original Fender Gilmour Custom Shop Case. The body and neck we believe to be authentic Fender as you can see. We don't know what year the serial number goes back to and we did call Fender on that. The neck shows production date and assembly date also. We believe the plate, neck, and possibly the body are Fender Reissue USA. The tuners are Fender Vintage. The body is Thin Skin Black, (you can see the grain slightly which is real cool but it is not trans). The pups are SEYMOUR DUNCAN David Gilmour and the box was included when he purchased the guitar. We think it was bought as one with guard all cloth pre-wiring perfect. We tested and played this guitar. It plays great with no issues, like a dream. It sounds even better with much diversity with selector switch, (couldn't believe it). Almost wanted to buy it myself! However you look at it, this is the nicest Gilmour, without a COA, that you will ever see for this price. Someone put a lot of time and effort into this baby. Weighs 7.12 pounds. Condition of guitar and case excellent/mint. SOLD

Yes the 60th Ann USA 2011 Fender Cabronita, (monster of death), is here at Guitar Boutique. Mint with all those goodies too. The key word here is TV Jones. When we get done stairing at it we will write up a full narritive. SOLD
